Carrie Beallor is a family
doctor with specialty training in travel and tropical medicine.
She is a graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School
where she also completed a residency in Family Medicine. She
has completed the Gorgas Course in Tropical Medicine in Lima,
Peru where she obtained a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and
Hygiene and a Certificate of Knowledge from the American Society
of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
Dr. Beallor runs a family practice as well as The Beallor
Travel Health Clinic in Thornhill. She also works at the Medisys
Travel Health Clinic (formerly the Toronto General Hospital
Travel Clinic) in Toronto. She has done medical work in various
parts of Africa, Southeast Asia and South America. She has
travelled to over 30 countries, often doing medical work and
simply enjoying the world.
